Sara attended Emporia State University where she earned her master's degree in recreation. She has served as a lifeguard instructor, camp consultant, experiential educator, teambuilding facilitator/manager, author and outdoor education instructor. She was Program Facilitator for Mosey Outdoor Adventure Society, guiding adult and youth groups through an 80-acre high and low ropes course, facilitating teamwork, trust building, goal setting, strategic planning, conflict resolution, self-relaince, and self-worth. Her passion is in developing caring, meaningful, Christian relationships and leadership through play and experiential education. One of her mottos is: "Live, laugh, love, pray, and play hard".
